Captain's Thoughts by Lawrence Reeve.

Despite a near loss we are following on from a strong performance last week, the moral is good and the spirit is high. The team knows that there is a lot of potential and following good numbers at training this week today should be a good test of our resolve. Annoyingly we are still hampered by injury and not at full strength however some solid ODs have stood up and are being counted on the pitch. Thanks to the guys returning to the game from injury or retirement, this year it is really important we build the club from the inside and draw in the local players and reinstate the ODs success in the league.

We have a couple of new faces show up this year from the local areas and we welcome you and hope you enjoy the club and playing for the ODs.

I put out a request to all you fellow ODs to come and support your club, bring the kids, wife and dog and support the lads form the side line. We are a great club and need more support from the hundreds of members on the OD lists……

To all the players, if you can come to clubhouse for at least one quick beer after the game we can also announce man of the match in all teams and also build a squad spirit again. Something that has been lacking in the last few years.
