The club have signed up to trial Pitchero Play. Live match highlights as they happen. Read on for more information...

Pitchero Play is a new software/hardware offering from our website hosts Pitchero.

In a nutshell, as the match is being played, every time there is an event on the field of play a small 20 second clip is uploaded instantly to the club website and social media streams.
So those of you that unfortunately can't make the match and feel frustrated by short written descriptions, you can still see all the action pretty much as it happens and relive that try as if you were there. This truly is the next best thing to a live stream of the match right there in the palm of your hand on your device.

At present we aim to record and provide highlights for all the fixtures that are played on the Field of Dreams. A highlights reel will still be produced encompassing all the best action of the game this is just something a little extra for those out and about but still wanting to know the score.

The best places to catch the action are listed below.

  • Website. www.odrfc.co.uk Head to the Match Centre for the home fixture
  • Facebook. Follow the ODs on their facebook page www.facebook.com/ODRFC
  • Twitter. Follow the ODs on their twitter page www.twitter.com/odrfc
  • The club app. Download the Pitchero app from iTunes App Store or Google Play Store. Log in or if you have to sign up. Once in head to the Match Centre for the home fixture

We are please to say that this has been sponsored by the clubs chosen charity CRY. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD. It also promotes and develops heart screening programmes and funds medical research. CRY publishes and distributes medical information written by leading cardiologists for the general public. CRY funds fast track referral, screening and cardiac pathology services at leading UK hospitals.
We can't thank them enough for helping us secure this system.

The action will start this weekend when the A XV take on Beckenham IV at home. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated so if you have time leave a note in the comments below or contact us through Facebook/Twitter.

We hope you enjoy the new feature.
