Like a Phoenix from the flames the Ex A have returned to league rugby...

A huge amount of work has been done over the summer and pre-season, notably by Paul Sawyer to grow the player base within the club to a level that we need to expand to an extra team.

The Ex A haven't played since the 14/15 season. With all of the local sides depleting in player numbers we can not express the monumental effort that has gone in to stop and reverse that slide.

The Ex A Captain and Vice Captain are yet to be announced but the side will be managed by Anthony Proctor (Doc). This will keep the continuity going of game day setup and on the pitch play that we now have in the 1st XV and A XV. This will also allow the Ex A XV to be a direct stepping stone to 1st XV rugby for those players that have the ambition to do so and many will.
They will be playing in the Kent Metropolitan Bishops Finger League against the likes of Brockleians II, HSBC II, Beckenham V, Bromley III to name a few. Like the A XV, the final fixture list, as of yet, has not gone public but if you click this LINK you can see the dates for the rounds for this merit table and when the fixtures do become public they will be shown here also.

Again a massive thank you from the club goes to Paul Sawyer and all the others that have encouraged friends and family to come down to the club to play.

If you would like to be involved and fancy a run out, no matter what level you are, please drop Paul an email or a call and we'll arrange the rest from there.

Shh, no one mention the B XV... just yet!
