The under 10s again started the training session with the under 11s and 12s. There is no lack of confidence as they mix it with the older boys. There were some new drills and games for them to learn, everyone enjoying the contact session using the Swiss Ball.

We broke off to hone our rucking, which is new for them this year, along with an introduction to the three-man scrum. We played some three-on-one and two-on-two, with Henry showing some really good and thoughtful distribution, and Jackson working well with him and making a strong spin out of a tackle to score . Ollie had a great turn of pace to score a nice try in the corner. Matthew and Luke as usual showed good tenacity in defence and some good strong running in attack, working nicely together.

Overall a very good training session with everyone doing well, am sure the boys will get to try out their developing rucking, mauling and scrummaging skills properly next week.
