So the season is under way. The first pre-season match has come and gone and highlighted some good things and some things that need a little extra work. Fresh on the heals of the mid week game against Sidcup II, the squad now splits into two.
The 1st XV have a tough test and face off against Warlingham, a side that the ODs haven't played for a fair few years. Warlingham have been playing their rugby in London 2 for the last couple of seasons and even though they were relegated last year, losing every fixture, they are still in a division on par with the Old Boys playing this season in London South West 3.
Phil Ubee, Head Coach, has chosen a 20 man squad to travel to Warlingham, with new faces mixed alongside the "old" from last season. It's another chance for the new players to show their skills and make an impression, trying to cement a place in the 1st XV.
The match kicks off at 3pm. Those that have a free afternoon, head over for what will be a very entertaining afternoon of rugby. We hope to see as many of you there as possible to cheer the boys on.
