This week the 1st XV hit the road for the short trip down the M20 to Aylesford Bulls.
The Bulls are a side who the ODs have met frequently over recent seasons. The results from last season were mixed for both sides with a win a piece. Currently Aylesford sit below the Old Boys with a record of played 4 lost 4 being comfortable beaten in all but one fixture so far in the league. But history shows that Aylesford are a good outfit and will be a strong challenge upfront.
The Old Boys failed to fire on all cylinders last week. With a much change side to the regular side that has been starting to form, and a couple of new faces in George Hart and Lee McCarthy, there is hope that this will inject some guile into the side and they come away with a hopeful 5 points.
Kick off is 3pm at the Jack Williams Memorial Ground. With no A XV fixture there will be good travelling support. If you are free and fancy cheering the boys on please come along and support. Every little helps.
Fingers crossed for the win! Legs crossed for 5 points!
