This week the 1st team have their toughest challenge. A visit from the league leaders Thanet Wanderers. They have not lost since the end of October against Haywards Heath and are sitting level on points at the top of the table with Pulborough, both sides now firmly in the driving seat for promotion.
The 1st XV have their own worries with injuries throughout the club in the front row making selection a real struggle. Up steps the old wise heads of John North and Chris Pecorella to shore up the holes.
It's not all doom and gloom though. The back line has only one change with Rory Palmer injured up steps Danny Carter to fill the gap and Sam Hampson has returned to the club after a few years playing on the 7s circuit. With an impressive first fixture last week in the A XV here is hoping that he can make an impact and add some flair and pace into an already exciting back 3.
After the fixture the annual Xmas Party takes place at the club, a great chance to unwind and reflect on a fairly successful first half of the season that, with out points deductions, would see the club sitting nicely in 6th position in the league.
Fingers crossed that some points can be gained this Saturday and other results go in our favour, Park House facing off against Pulborough.
All your support is needed to cheer the club out of relegation so if you find yourself at a loose end get down to Park Langley for an hour or so and cheer on the boys. If you can't remember the match will have live highlight videos going up on Facebook, Twitter and in match centre on the website and app where you can see all the tries and major incidents as they happen. This has been kindly sponsored by the clubs chosen charity CRY.
