Match Preview

So this week sees the start of the A XV league campaign and what a way to start. A home fixture against Dartfordians Saints.

The two sides slogged it out last season vying for the league's top spot. Both were very close affairs, admittedly one had some very dodgy refereeing. Unfortunately the A XV lost out on both occasions 5-19 and 14-10. At the end of last season's league Darts took top spot and promotion to the league above. But with all the league re-shuffles the ODs followed them up leading to this opener that is highly anticipated by the A XV players with a lot of old scores to settle. Some of the faces in the OD's squad may be new but everyone is aware of the importance of this game and up for the challenge.

This fixture is always a feisty one with a close scoreline. KO is 3pm at Park Langley and all support is welcome and much needed to cheer the boys on to their first league win of the season and against old adversaries from last year.
