So on this big day for the club, with two sides at home, the A XV welcome Southwark Lancers Rebels. Their league form so far has been very impressive. Starting off with a 24-24 draw against Beckenham IV but then a 7-47 win against an Old Colfeians III XV.

Last year the A XV only came across Southwark Lancers once with a competitive win 33-24 against their III XV in a friendly fixture. This weekend therefore will be a much sterner test. For the third weekend on the trot the The A's compete against a side that was in the league above last year.

Hoping to roll off of last weeks impressive display against a struggling Blackheath Bandits side, with what is expected to be a large crowd, here is hoping that the A XV can cement themselves at the top of their table with a victory.

This weekend is bring the wife or girlfriend. If you have both be careful! There are not many places to hide.
