The A XV are back in action this week with a home fixture against our oldest of friends, Bromley III. After a hard fought contest last week, losing to Southwark Lancers II by 12-31, Jack Powter and his boys will be aiming to bounce right back.
Bromley III are another side from the league above after last years re-shuffle. The A XV did play Bromley IV last season coming away with all the points. This side is bound to be a much tougher test with the aim of gaining some pride back after they lost in the pre-season friendly between the two clubs.
So far Bromley III have played no matches in the league, with 1 walkover, 1 concession and a postponed game. This gives us very little to go on in terms of form. The A XV will just have to hope their strong form, maybe not in results but performance wise, will carry them in good stead against a side that hasn't played much rugby this season. The A XV currently sit in 5th place in the league but this can all change quickly. There are plenty of sides who have not played as many games who will all start to bounce back once they catch up. The A XV will be determined to cement themselves in the top half of the table with a strong performance
KO is at Park Langley at 3pm. With the only side at home there should be a good little crowd gathered and with the bit Halloween party in the evening there will be much excitement buzzing around the clubhouse.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible.
