Jeremy Scott (joining a select crowd of no more than a dozen OD's) celebrated his 300th cap with a try from the games first play, quickly followed by Linvale Antonio streaking in unopposed to double the old boys advantage straight from the restart. A lead of 14 nil after about a minutes game time rather set the tone for a one way afternoon.
A few years ago these two sides competed in some titanic scraps at the other end of the table and PJF's demise is a shame to witness. Reporting for duty with a bare match 15, (including a centre who couldn't stop throwing up) the Surrey outfit were a shadow of their former selves. Just to prove when it rains in pours I notice the RFU have also pinged PJF 5 penalty points, assuring relegation if any doubt lingered.
In a decent all round team performance no 8 Ben Marchant enjoyed another good afternoon and rounded off the scoring with a well taken try. Debutant hooker Hayden Wisnewski and open side Bruce Jones showed well, Jones looking good ball in hand and capping his performance with a brace of tries. The best score of the game came as PJF were turned over in the shadow of the old boys posts, Josh Smith broke right and fed centre Joe Murray who made space with a lovely offload then regained his feet to run an excellent support line and finally take the scoring pass.
For OD's it made a nice change to rack up a big score and secure a bonus point, though tougher tests await, not least with a trip to Brighton this Saturday
