The powerful Park forwards dominated the game, giving the old boys no platform to play off as they spent a frustrating day almost exclusively behind the gain line.
Parks dominance at the scrum, allied to the controlled aggression of an effective counter rucking game ensured that a hard working D's side (whose tackle count must have been phenomenal) spent a cold, dark muddy afternoon going backwards, and even when the visiting backs sparked, as they did occasionally, their breaks were expertly corralled by the home defence.
Park scored two tries in each half to claim the bonus point. Dunstonian took nothing from the same save a certain pride from a very brave defensive effort. Results around the league however have not worsened D's position, and they will go into the new year releaved to have visited 4 of the top 5 sides and realising that a couple fo results will improve their position immesurably.
