Brighton's big beasts run riot

No points are awarded for courage under fire in London SE2, though D's would be entitled to a full hand if this were the case. D's were physically pummeled by a massive and well drilled Brighton 15 who showed a level of fitness organisation and physicality that will serve them well when their inevitable promotion is confirmed.

D's started strongly and after 10 minutes were 5 nil ahead. After this Brighton asserted themselves and by the half hour mark were looking towards the bonus point. The only thing in doubt was not the result but its manner and quantum. in terms of the former D's laid their bodies on the line and lacked nothing by way of commitment and as for the latter Brighton attritional seige produced an 9 try scoreline, augmented by an absurd penalty try awarded for a collapsed maul fully 15 metres from the D's try line.
